Artist Statement

The subjects for my paintings are from daily life that reflects my observation and constant interaction with Nature and my surroundings. My inspiration comes from a line in a poem, or an image that I saw, or an emotion that I experienced.

The subjects of my work are varied, sometimes with a twist; full of movement yet, for the most part an imagined reality. My work touches the heart and soul of the viewer. It creates interaction, interpretation, enjoyment and excitement.
